In 2025, Dave launched The Saturday List on Substack, a curated list of things he’s “Watching, Reading, Listening to, and Rediscovering” across the Internet, pop culture, and beyond.
He has grown his podcast to thousands of subscribers on YouTube, where, as host of The Vandy Program, he interviews personalities from business and marketing, sports and PR, politics and pop culture.
His experience includes more than two decades in public relations, corporate communications, and content development and delivery.
Most recently, Dave led external communications for a state-wide division of a health insurance company, and led an integrated content project for a leading health care not-for-profit, with a focus on creation of blog and social media content.
He has also served as Director of External Communications for a Top Ten accounting firm, VP of Global Public Relations for a Fortune 300 financial services organization, and interim communications consultant for the oil and gas division of a global industrial services company.
He has launched businesses and web properties that have impacted industries, including the educational technology portal U Sphere (in the early 2000s), Metasip (wine, beer, and spirits reviews), and Metacoin (covering the consumer side of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency).
